Nice

The fifth largest city in France. A dynamic flourishing economy contributes to Nice’s second place for tourism in France after Paris with 4 million visitors a year. An international airport just fifteen minutes from the city centre and a world-renowned Convention Centre voted Best European convention centre for several years in a row.

Nice’s assets include its climate, light, beautiful sights and landscapes. Nice is fascinating for its bustling activity, fine ochre façades, colourful markets and especially its authenticity. A morning stroll through the flower market and fruit and vegetable market in Old Nice offers a wonderful moment of pleasure for all the senses: sweet, spicy, floral fragrances, a festival of colour in the stalls, sampling of sun-drenched specialities... Against the background of the Castle Hill, this view is one of the main attractions of the destination Nice, to be given priority in your agendas.

Promenade des Anglais, Carnival, Old Nice, "Nice Jazz Festival" are all renowned beyond our borders, but there are countless other ways to discover Nice... Just let your inspiration guide you to discover its many treasures: the variety of its historical and architectural heritage attests to the many successive influences of its past. The number and quality of its museums place Nice second in France after Paris and the many sculptures displayed in its streets illustrate the strong feelings artists have always expressed for our city.

Furthermore, Nice is located in the heart of the French Riviera, one of the world’s most popular tourist regions. This central position is an essential asset for organising your discovery stays. The best known sites on the Riviera and in the hinterland are within a 100km radius of Place Massena! This makes Nice the ideal starting point for discovering the Mediterranean coast and its famous perched villages and even to enjoy skiing and other gliding sports in the resorts of the hinterland.
